EXCELLENT QUALITY

Almost like having a mini Havan at home

Have been using this Sambrani Havan Cups for more than 1 year. When #Vocalforlocal meets Giving back to the society, we get products such as these, which I am about to review.

* Packaging: Came in an eco friendly double packaging, with 2 pamphlets, one showing the details of the product, and the other guiding you that if you have any difficulty burning the cups, keep the cups in sunlight so that moisture is reduced. All of havan cups were fully intact with no breakage, and I think even if there is a small piece that comes off, we have to take into account that havan cup shell is made up of cow-dung which tends to be flakey.

* Actual Product: You get these small havan cups, filled with what seems to be havan samagri (with herbs, kapoor etc.) along with a stand on which you can place the cup. Before burning the cup, I put a tablet of kapoor and then lit it with the help of matchstick, the kapoor helped the havan cup to burn faster , but otherwise, the havan cup will catch fire on its own as well. After the fire subsids, the havan cup along with havan samigri slowly ignites to release white colored smoke.

* Burning: The havan cup burns for good 25-30 minutes and during that time, it produces white smoke which is free of any soot. Please note that there are cups from other companies which on igniting, release black color smoke and it is quite sooty. I have tried then in the past and I did not like them at all.

* Fragrance and aroma: This smells exactly like the havan samagri, and your home smells like you have just performed a yajna. Great part is that the smoke does not hurts throat or eyes, unlike black cups which release black smoke. The overall fragrance is soothing and not pungent. The aroma of smoke remains for good 3-4 hrs.

Another humbling feature of this product is that it gives back some portion of its sales back to a Gau-shala or for Gau-seva as it is mentioned on its product pamphlet. So when you buy such products, you not only strengthen your Indic roots but also help numerous Gau-vansh.
